It is 8.06pm, new year’s eve, Kaelyn Stewart’s bedtime, and with these few words she freezes the marrow in her mother’s bones, “The vampires are coming.”
It has been 12 years since Narelle Stewart lost her husband in the first vampire war and now they are back!
Born, utilising cutting edge IVF procedures two years after her father’s death, Kaelyn has a special talent – she knows when the vampires are close.
Together Narelle and Kaelyn must find other survivors and band together if they are to stay alive. Perth is no longer safe and they must journey north to the abandoned army camp at Lake Argyle.
The vampires are searching for the one shining light, the one destined to be the saviour of the vampire race, and when they learn that ‘light’ is travelling north, they follow.
The fight for survival has once again begun.
